Every morning we wake up and are handed with 24 golden hours. They are one of the few things in this world that you get free of charge besides the air that we breath, the sunshine and the rain. If you had all the money in the world, you couldn’t buy an extra hour (but of course nowadays with the exception of some people, they can buy bigger cars and more money for petrol). But for the poor folks, they can only expect free air and sunshine not like a state government who use the rakyat money to buy Mercedes Benz for their exclusive use and because of the brand Benz and the feeling of luxury and rich that makes the choice bias and this justify the must have a MUST BENZ… Well, this will depends on the greed and ego of every human being. I earn more and I want a status, therefore I must use a Merc or BMW to show to the rakyat that I am better and important then they are.
It should be okay if it is a businessman afterall it’s their money, but using public fund as what the Terengganu state is spending (RM3.43 million for 14 benz), it looks like the Terengganu exco (or rather BN lead state) is not really practicing what they preach i.e. BE PRUDENCE IN SPENDING during this recession period. With such fund, I can’t imagine just how much it can help the kampong folks for eg. giving out outboard motor to the fishermen, repairing roads to the villages etc. We need people who think of the rakyat first before thinking about their own personal well being. After being elected they forgot that it was the rakyat that put them there in the first place, to served and bring development to their area. A Leader By Example!
I notice in Sabah, some being a minister just less then 1 term, you can see them owning big bungalow worth millions of ringgits! Another kind of A Leader By Example!
I can’t help but admire the Kelantan MB (though I’m no PAS man, but a man who is against corruption and not idolizing any individual be it from BN or PR). Being the MB for more then 18 years, he is still using the same old car, no bodyguard, no police outrider, no state official house and worst of all even his house has got no fencing. (To See Nik Aziz House Click Here). People are free to see and meet him at his house anytime. Down-to-earth man! A true A leader by example!
rasa macam nak nangis tgk video rumah tok guru tu tadi…

Hardsound (May 13, 2009),we are comparing TGNA’s house with those other MB’s. You should make a trip to see other State MB’s house. eg. UMNO MBs selfowned houses. compare your house with their’s.
Tok Guru sangat senderhana dan Insyaalllah mengikuti sunnah Rasullulah. Di harap ramai pemimpin sebegini.
