Selangor Umno leaders should hold key posts in the party to help wrest back the state from Pakatan Rakyat, said Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo.

He called on Umno Youth in the divisions which have yet to hold their delegates’ meetings, to nominate aspiring candidates from Selangor to contest in the Youth elections.

Dr Mohamad Khir, who has offered to contest the Umno Youth chief post, said he would not be able to woo more youths in the Klang Valley to support Barisan Nasional (BN) in the next general election, should he failed to get the required quota. ( NST )

Is this a threat? Or is this guy crying for sympathy from the delegates. The most honourable thing my friend is to back-out or be humiliated. You will end up no where in the party. Afterall, you have already been humiliated when you lost Selangor to the opposition when you were the MB. What makes you think that you can woo anymore youths now then you were the MB?

A LIABILITY TO UMNO?

A LIABILITY TO UMNO?

KEMAMAN, Sept 26 – Umno Youth vice head Khairy Jamaluddin has said that the decision of the party’s Supreme Council to move the General Assembly to March next year can complicate the campaigns of those standing in  the election.

The campaign period which was originally only two months would be extended to six months and this would make it difficult for the candidates eyeing higher posts like himself, he said. ( Read Here )

Surprised!? No lahh…not a bit! It has been known all the while by Malaysian that KJ has been over ambitious (not to mention of being more arrogant) ever since he became the PM’s son-in-law. All these while he has been making use of his father-in-law’s influence (if there is still now) to to achieve his ambition. Not that he can’t wait to push Hishamuddin off his chair but I personally think that he is afraid of losing the support of the UMNO youths if ever his father-in-law being boot out of office by Najib. There has already been reports that UMNO grassroots have been prevented from meeting him. This I see as an early indication of the UMNO youths being unhappy with KJ, who is well known of his outrageous remarks during campaigning.

Words have been going round that should ABB is boot out earlier than as what had been earlier agreed upon i.e. March 2010, it is not solely because of ABB himself but largely due to KJ. As reported even Rafidah Aziz had a no-holds barred approach with the PM concerning his son-in-law KJ. Even some in the UMNO supreme council is not in favour of KJ. Tun Dr Mahathir has been criticising that all decisions by the PM  are transcribe advice from KJ.

One day KJ will fall from grace just like Khir Toyo (another inspiring candidate for UMNO youth’s president) due to his arrogant attitude.

Of the many bad habits humans are known for having, arrogance should rank among the worst. It may only seem impolite behavior and therefore relatively harmless, but underneath can lie trouble… especially if a leader is arrogant. While arrogance may seem innocuous, perhaps seen as simply a person’s inability to mask their pride (vanity), but within such people lurks trouble.

I being a simple anakdesa believes that arrogance isn’t the cause alone nor the underlying cause. It’s just one face of evil… but a wily chameleon hard to recognize. While evil is only what humans believe it to be, although clearly evident in most cases, uncertainties can exist… over morality issues for example.

Power is so powerful.
