The Plaza Masalam building where Teoh fell to his death.

SHAH ALAM: The aide to a Selangor state executive council (exco) member who was assisting the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in an investigation was found dead at Plaza Masalam, nine floors below the MACC office.

A janitor found the body of Teoh Beng Hock, 30, the political secretary of Sri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah, sprawled on the fifth floor of the 20-storey building at about 1:30pm on Thursday.

Teoh was taken to the MACC office at 6pm on Wednesday to assist in the graftbusting agency’s investigation into the alleged abuse of constituency development funds by several state assemblymen.

After plotting the downfall of PR Perak government and replaced Muhammad Muhammad as the Selangor UMNO chief. Looks like Najib is now plotting to topple the Selangor state government by whatever means. BN tried to bring down the Selangor MB over the matter of cows and car; then they arrested Teresa Kok on Khir Toyo’s instigation. Now, the MACC, even before a police report has been made, was sent in to intimidate the Pakatan politicians in a heavy-handed manner. Not only were the DAP politicians being targetted but also the people who received the assistance.

benghockMACC is acting lightning-fast on any issue which concern the opposition and crawl like a tortoise when dealing with scandal  such as the PKFZ, the dentist’s trip to Disneyland etc which involved UMNO-BN stooges.

MACC director of investigation Datuk Mohd Shukri Abdull said Teoh was released at about 3:45am on Thursday after his officers had finished recording his statement.

“No one saw him after that until we were alerted that a body had been found on the fifth floor at about 1:30pm,”

Is this logical, a man who is suppose to get married the very day, loitering MACC building from 3:45am to 1:30pm? 8 hours 45 minutes loitering as  if there is no big day for him that day? Wouldn’t he be rushing back to get ready for the wedding? Doesn’t make sense at all unless someone is lying and is trying to cover-up something! This ala Saddam and Pol Pot style of  interrogation and the handling of suspects or witnesses!

“…….adding that Teoh was a witness in the MACC investigation”

Interrogated as a witness from 6pm to 3.45 am! Why through out the night when it can be done during office hour? Why was this necessary? It just don’t make sense ‘questioning’ a witness unless of course intimidating him and forcing him to confess false confession against his boss. This just another kind of torture though not physically but mentally. Teoh Beng Hock  was young, vital and energetic man, why would he want to jump to death? Could one of these theories be the cause of Teoh’s death – fallen unintentionally, committed suicide by jumping or he may have been pushed (but by whom!).

“There is not going to be any cover-up in this investigation, and I assure the public and his family that we will conduct a thorough investigation into his death. (Selangor Chief Police Officer Deputy Comm Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar)

Can anyone believe this?? Or will the  “thorough” investigation be just the way they investigated Kugan’s death and all those detainees that died in their lock-ups? The public has had enough of the word “assure” and all the promises these men-in-blue made when in the end everything were spin-ed, twisted, cover-up and stamped NFA. Just to recall – what happen to Kugan’s death investigation? The investigation into Kugan’s death has never yielded any results, raising allegations of a cover-up. Will this incident be the same?

MACC  Selangor has some serious explanation to make for the death of  Teoh Beng Hock. But as usual and always will be – explanation given is always a cover-up explanation. Something needs to be done to stopped this culture of harassment, culture of hooliganism and unprofessional conduct of MACC, police and the destruction of the Malaysian Constitution by the judiciary.

Read  Here, and  Here on how this MACC torture witnesses to admit the allegations made by them.

By the way, a special thanks to the previous PM for this  “better and transparent” MACC, old wine in a new bottle!

wreath2Anakdesa extended his condolences to Teoh’s family for the tragic loss and may God punish the culprit/s if this is foul play.

(Updated July 20, 2009) – Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said that the police have seized Teoh Beng Hock’s mobile phone from the anti-corruption investigating officer and that they are looking into the call list. (See Video Here)

Ahhh….isn’t is interesting? MACC said Teoh Beng Hock was released at 3:45am, how come his handphone was still with the MACC Investigating Officer? He must have walked to the IO and handed to the IO his handphone and jump out the window! Can anyone buy this story of being released at 3:45am as claimed by MACC director of investigation Datuk Mohd Shukri Abdull?

Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar today said that police revisited the site where Teoh Beng Hock died and found window components believed to have come from the 14th floor, occupied by the MACC, next to his body. (Read Here)

Well, well…what do you think of this? Teoh Beng Hock after handing over his handphone, walked over to the window, broke the window components and jump while clutching onto the components. Can anyone again buy this story?

Or would you buy this theory? They dragged him to the window, opened the window, push his head to look down to make him scared, intimidated him that he be thrown out the window if he don’t sign the force false confessions against Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah and out of fear of falling  he gripped onto the window components and somehow slipped or pushed and the window component give away and Teoh Beng Hock fall while still clutching the components. Hemmmm…I must have been watching too much Hollywood and Bollywood movies!

Siasatan awal mendapati Teoh Beng Hock sudah meninggal dunia empat atau lima jam sebelum mayatnya ditemui dekat pejabat Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) Selangor pukul 1.30 tengah hari Khamis lalu, kata ketua polis negeri. (Read Here)

That would be, say around 9:30am or 8:30am. Wasn’t that the during the continuation of the interrogation (if there was) after he was seen by Tan Boon Wah in the MACC pantry around 6:00am?

While I was driving to day, I heard our newly appointed PM Datuk Seri Najib announcing the uplifting of two banned newpapers and the released of 13 Hindrafsupporters. I started to wonder whether the action to ‘uplift and release’ got something to do with the 3 by-elections? Is the newly appointed PM trying to tell the Minister of Internal affairs, Datuk Syed Hamid Albar’s action was wrong and not a good decision?

I just hope that the action taken to ‘uplift and release’ is notjust a ploy to gain votes for the 3 by-elections. This not about Datuk Seri Najib being elected as prime minister or the president of UMNO but more on the attitude of the UMNO members who have became very arrogant and corrupted. Many so-called leaders in UMNO don’t admit  their mistake and they are beyond criticism. Just like the case of the wrongly detained reporter and MP Teresa Kok. Just like how the minister in charged reacted!

For a simple Anakdesa like me, it is just too early to write off Datuk Seri Najib as the 6th Prime Minister. The above ‘uplifting and release’ is just not my kind of measuring tape. Give him time to prove to the people that he is just not one of the arrogant and corrupted UMNO member. And that what he swear in the name of his Creator is true.

Meanwhile, may I humbly congratulate him on his appointment as the 6th Prime Minister of Malaysia

Najib promises huge changes if BN wins

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak promised to bring huge changes to Kuala Terengganu if the Barisan Nasional (BN) if given the mandate by the people in the Jan 17 parliamentary by-election.

He said the BN Government was capable of bringing changes to provide a better livelihood for the people compared with PAS which was capable of making empty promises only. (Daily Express)

Yes lah…carry on with all the promises…empty promises! Wonder where is the promise of RM1 billion allocation for Sabah and Sarawak? Where is the promise to get rid of the illegal immigrants?

Politicals leaders are only good in making promises during elections time and during hard times when they are cornered by defections by their MPs. They start to open their big mouth and make all sort of promises just to make the people happy. After all is over those promises will turn to just nothing but empty promises!

Even Tan Sri Bernard Dompok quired about the RM1 billion extra allocation. Not that I really care about the RM1 billion extra allocation but it is a question of how good is the words/promises by our country top leaders. Can we believe them? Or are they just taking the people for a ride with all their empty promises.

As I have said I just don’t really care about that RM1 billion extra allocation, afterall if they really fulfill this promise, it is their own cronies who will actually gained from the projects. So no big deal.

What matter me most being just an ordinary rakyat, which is affecting the people of Sabah and the future generations is the illegal immigrants. Especially the “project I/C”.

As I have said in my earlier article, Sabah leaders are just good for nothing! They are just being blinded by empty promises from the central leaders. When the RM1 billion extra allocation were promised, they all praised the central leaders and adore them as goddess. I can understand lah….those $$$ sign started to play around their head. More allocation, more luggage to carry to the bank mahhh…

To the rakyat of Kuala Terengganu…don’t be a victim of empty promises…don’t be fooled by these leaders!

KUALA TERENGGANU, Aug 10 — Saying he did not want anyone like Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim “who stabbed him in the back” as Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad said yesterday he would rather migrate if the former deputy prime minister succeeds in toppling the Barisan Nasionalgovernment.

“If he comes Prime Minister, I will get out of the country. Give everything to him,” Utusan Malaysia quoted the former prime minister’s reply to a question at the Current Challenges for Malays forum here.

However, the acerbic Dr Mahathir was confident that Anwar will not become Prime Minister by September 16 although he was sure his former protégé would be victorious in the Permatang Pauh parliamentary by-election this Aug 26.

He said Anwar was greedy enough for support that he would forsake the special privileges for his own race to cooperate with the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) which is filled with racism.

AnakDesaThis world is a free world. One can go anywhere one wishes to as long as they have the money. If you are damn rich, any country awaits you. So many leaders migrated after they fallout with their own people. Marcos Ferdinand, Adi Amin, Alberto Fujimori, the latest Thaksin. Did their country shed tears for them? This time whatever tears lahhh…Did their country collapse? Or have the countries prosper further after their departure? Did the migration did good for the country or otherwise?

With due respect to Tun Dr. Mahathir, I can’t and will not denied that Malaysia did prosper in his time as PM. His policies of economic liberalisation and his vision for the nation’s future as a fully-developed industrial country by the year 2020, which I must admit, is every Malaysian’s dream and also all the 3rd world countries in the world. All the mega projects such as Twin Tower, Sepang F1 etc. have magnified Malaysia to the world. Being vocal and outspoken, Tun Dr. Mahathir made a lot of leaders around the world to appreciate him (especially the developing countries) but at the same time others hated him for some of his remarks.

Every man in the world have their “good and bad” in the eyes of every people. No one is perfect in this world! Even DSAI has his share of this. So are Pak Lah, Najib and all the Malaysian leaders for that matter. It is only a matter of whether the rakyat could tolerate (not accept!) their bad side. For the good side, of course, everyone can accept lah…no question about that!

Back to the main topic about Dr M wanting to migrate if DSAI becomes the PM. Would I shed tears as I did for Rafidah Aziz? Would I care if Dr M migrates? Would it be a loss to the country? Will the country collapse? Well, for sure, I wouldn’t want to waste my tears for him if he does migrate. It is his right to do so. It is his choice and no one forces him to, not DSAI, Pak Lah, Najib, me or you. Even during his tenure as PM, in fact there are a lot of rakyat who migrated to other parts of the world. No one shed tears for them either. In fact some of those migrated that I knew are very happy with their present life now. So why waste tears!

To Dr. M, go where ever you want to and do what ever you want to. Just don’t politicise it to get sympathy from the rakyat. ( That reminds me of a song sung by Madonna – Don’t cry for me Argentina )

By the way…today is my birthday lah…anybody care to shed tears for me..? Cos’ I am, what people used to say…a step nearer to meet my Creator!
