KUALA LUMPUR: Land law in Penang categorically prohibits the re-development of Kampung Lorong Buah Pala, a lawyer here specialising in issues involving local authorities said yesterday.

Derek Fernandez said the temporary land ownership (Borang 11AK) document for the village issued by the Timor Laut Land Office stated that the 26,683.96 sq metre plot could not be transferred or mortgaged.

Neither could the land be leased or entered into any form of business transaction, he added.

Fernandez said the state government should issue a notice to the developer, Nusmetro Ventures (P) Sdn Bhd, to stop the demolition of structures on Penang’s High Chaparral.
“The land title actually prohibits any development unless expressly approved by the state government. The developer also cannot enter into any agreement with the Koperasi Pegawai Kerajaan Pulau Pinang,” he told a press conference held jointly with former Petaling Jaya councillor A.Thiruvenggadam.

Fernandez said the state government could buy the land on which the century-old settlement was located by just paying the original premium with interest.

“They do not have to pay the RM150 million cost of the housing
project promoted by the developer.”
He was commenting on Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s statement that the state could not acquire the land as it would need to pay RM150 million in compensation.

KUALA LUMPUR, Thurs: Indonesian national Manohara Odelia Pinot, who is embroiled in a marital dispute with her husband, the Tengku Temenggong Kelantan, has hired two law firms to represent her in cases involving her in the Syariah courts and Civil High Court.

For the cases involving the Syariah courts, Manohara will be represented by Messrs Faiz Adnan & Associates with the lead counsel being Mohd Faiz Adnan.

As for the case before the Civil High Court, she has hired the law firm of Messrs Fakrul Hisham Abdullah & Associates to represent her and her mother, Daisy Fajarina.

The appointments were announced by Khairul Nizam, a spokesman for the two law firms concerned, in a statement issued here today.

According to him, representatives from the two law firms met up with Manohara and her mother in Jakarta on Tuesday and Wednesday before they were appointed by the family to handle the cases.

On July 5, Tengku Temenggong Kelantan Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Sultan Ismail Petra filed two applications, one at the Syariah Lower Court and the other at Syariah High Court, both in Kota Baru, to demand that his wife return to him and settle debts she allegedly owed him that were accumulated before and after their marriage totalling RM972,750.

Two weeks after that, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry filed a RM105 million suit against his wife and mother-in-law in the Civil High Court here for allegedly defaming him in press conferences they held between April and June.

Just a simple question for Manohara Odelia – What makes you think that you will get a fair hearing in Malaysia, knowing very well how the judiciary here works. A prearranged judgment favoring the rich & famous. You will never have a fair hearing especially so if it concern rulers, the so-called guidance of their faith.This is what you will get here. KUALA LUMPUR, July 19 — Umno-controlled newspapers, Berita Harian and Mingguan Malaysia, today slammed critics for demonising the country’s graft-busters over Teoh Beng Hock’s death, with one suggesting there is an agenda to weaken Malay-controlled institutions.

Both newspapers accused the opposition of politicising the political secretary’s death on July 16, with Mingguan saying the federal opposition Pakatan Rakyat (PR) was using the incident to divert attention away from internal problems and weaknesses.

But Berita Harian suggested the agenda was to weaken Malay-controlled institutions in the article, “Kematian Teoh timbulkan pelbagai spekulasi politik”, written by the New Straits Times group managing editor Zainul Ariffin Isa.

I am utterly disgusted by the editor’s comment, as he is still indulge in race politics after 52 years of independent.

Here we have a Malaysian dead while in the custody of a government agency and suddenly this propagandists in Utusan and Berita Harian start to spin it into a racial issue. Not one report before this that I read regarding the death spoke about race until these papers start to spin the actual facts. People are just concern on the circumstances surrounding the death regardless of the deceased race. Malaysian just wants the truth and nothing but the truth. Why spin the story and make it so racist?

Is this what the new 1Malaysia about? Other races can’t question any government agency and if by doing so, means weakening Malay-controlled institutions? What an idiotic journalism is this? The people are not anti-Malay-controlled institution but the action and manner of MACC questioning “witnesses”. I believe that there are a lot of good people in MACC but certain blacksheeps are the real culprits who have actually tarnished the institution. These balls-polishers are just too eager to play ‘god’ and  to please their master even if it means ‘eliminating subject’. Just look at how they made a witness stand 4 hours during interrogation demanding that he confess for things that he did not do. Remember the police report made by one Zul, A Simpang Renggam Municipal Council administrator and the 46-year-old UMNO division leader from Maran, Pahang on how they were physically abused? Come on lah…these are two are also Malays lah. Are they weakening the Malay-controlled institution when they made the reports? The Berita Harian did not say so at that point of time. Now that the dead is a Chinese and people question and demanded answers, they say it is weakening the Malay-controlled institution! The whole point here is that Malaysian knew how impartial and incompetent the MACC is.

How can we Malaysian can ever live as Malaysian if this kind of journalists are continuing to raise racist issue. Each time an issue of this magnitude surfaces, these UMNO controlled paper will bring in the race card to intimidate the other races and try to galvanize one race.

Shouldn’t the police steps in and charged these people who fan anti-sentiment among the people. Maybe ISA-ed them or is the ISA is also meant for certain race only?

SHAH ALAM: The aide to a Selangor state executive council (exco) member who was assisting the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in an investigation was found dead at Plaza Masalam, nine floors below the MACC office.

A janitor found the body of Teoh Beng Hock, 30, the political secretary of Sri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah, sprawled on the fifth floor of the 20-storey building at about 1:30pm on Thursday.

Teoh was taken to the MACC office at 6pm on Wednesday to assist in the graftbusting agency’s investigation into the alleged abuse of constituency development funds by several state assemblymen.

After plotting the downfall of PR Perak government and replaced Muhammad Muhammad as the Selangor UMNO chief. Looks like Najib is now plotting to topple the Selangor state government by whatever means. BN tried to bring down the Selangor MB over the matter of cows and car; then they arrested Teresa Kok on Khir Toyo’s instigation. Now, the MACC, even before a police report has been made, was sent in to intimidate the Pakatan politicians in a heavy-handed manner. Not only were the DAP politicians being targetted but also the people who received the assistance.

MACC is acting lightning-fast on any issue which concern the opposition and crawl like a tortoise when dealing with scandal  such as the PKFZ, the dentist’s trip to Disneyland etc which involved UMNO-BN stooges.

MACC director of investigation Datuk Mohd Shukri Abdull said Teoh was released at about 3:45am on Thursday after his officers had finished recording his statement.

“No one saw him after that until we were alerted that a body had been found on the fifth floor at about 1:30pm,”

Is this logical, a man who is suppose to get married the very day, loitering MACC building from 3:45am to 1:30pm? 8 hours 45 minutes loitering as  if there is no big day for him that day? Wouldn’t he be rushing back to get ready for the wedding? Doesn’t make sense at all unless someone is lying and is trying to cover-up something! This ala Saddam and Pol Pot style of  interrogation and the handling of suspects or witnesses!

Interrogated as a witness from 6pm to 3.45 am! Why through out the night when it can be done during office hour? Why was this necessary? It just don’t make sense ‘questioning’ a witness unless of course intimidating him and forcing him to confess false confession against his boss. This just another kind of torture though not physically but mentally. Teoh Beng Hock  was young, vital and energetic man, why would he want to jump to death? Could one of these theories be the cause of Teoh’s death – fallen unintentionally, committed suicide by jumping or he may have been pushed (but by whom!).

Can anyone believe this?? Or will the  “thorough” investigation be just the way they investigated Kugan’s death and all those detainees that died in their lock-ups? The public has had enough of the word “assure” and all the promises these men-in-blue made when in the end everything were spin-ed, twisted, cover-up and stamped NFA. Just to recall – what happen to Kugan’s death investigation? The investigation into Kugan’s death has never yielded any results, raising allegations of a cover-up. Will this incident be the same?

MACC  Selangor has some serious explanation to make for the death of  Teoh Beng Hock. But as usual and always will be – explanation given is always a cover-up explanation. Something needs to be done to stopped this culture of harassment, culture of hooliganism and unprofessional conduct of MACC, police and the destruction of the Malaysian Constitution by the judiciary.

Ahhh….isn’t is interesting? MACC said Teoh Beng Hock was released at 3:45am, how come his handphone was still with the MACC Investigating Officer? He must have walked to the IO and handed to the IO his handphone and jump out the window! Can anyone buy this story of being released at 3:45am as claimed by MACC director of investigation Datuk Mohd Shukri Abdull?

Well, well…what do you think of this? Teoh Beng Hock after handing over his handphone, walked over to the window, broke the window components and jump while clutching onto the components. Can anyone again buy this story?

Or would you buy this theory? They dragged him to the window, opened the window, push his head to look down to make him scared, intimidated him that he be thrown out the window if he don’t sign the force false confessions against Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah and out of fear of falling  he gripped onto the window components and somehow slipped or pushed and the window component give away and Teoh Beng Hock fall while still clutching the components. Hemmmm…I must have been watching too much Hollywood and Bollywood movies!

That would be, say around 9:30am or 8:30am. Wasn’t that the during the continuation of the interrogation (if there was) after he was seen by Tan Boon Wah in the MACC pantry around 6:00am?

At last the final official result of the Manek Urai by-election – PAS won with a very slim majority of 65 votes – PAS Abe Uji got 5,340 votes against Tuan Aziz 5,283. I was rather surprised not because PAS won or UMNO-BN lost but it’s the majority. I expected the majority to be between 1000-1500 votes. Not that I being a sore loser, in this case my expectation, but with such a slim victory surely something is not right. PAS and it’s PR partners should all sit down for some serious soul-searching session on what went wrong, and what contributed to the slim victory. PAS should be blamed for the poor result as they have been over harping on the ‘unity talk’ of late. I read a comment posted by a voter from Manek Urai who was not in favor of the ‘unity talk’, that he may as well vote for BN if that is the case. In the first place these voters don’t like UMNO-BN and now PAS wants to kowtow them. What the hack!

Anakdesa says what ever the so-called ‘unity talk’ is only UMNO’s ploy of ‘divide and rule’ tactic. They are damn good with this tactic works, but then again it all depends on the other party whether they are a fool or otherwise. This tactic was applied over and over again in Sabah with all the non-muslim bumiputra and the non-bumiputra population divided into smaller fractions with so many political parties to represent them. This has made Sabah it’s way into the Guinness Book of Record for having the most political parties in Malaysia, if not in the world.

Was it because the BN was clever in manipulating the situation or was it the Sabah so-called leaders who were actually damn STUPID. Or was the Sabah so-called leaders genius that they managed to convinced the central government to register and  accept their parties into BN, in return of position in the government where they can accumulate wealth?

Anakdesa has no political affiliation, so whoever had won in Manek Urai bears little significant to me. If I am a voter in Manek Urai, I’ll be choosing between the devil and the deep blue sea. However given no choice to choose as there are only UMNO-BN and PAS candidates, I would rather X-ed PAS. I’ve no lost love for UMNO-BN after what they have done to Sabah with it’s ‘divide-and-rule’ tactic and how they manipulated the PATI (pendatang asing tanpa izin), issuing them with I/Cs so that they can vote for BN. These have made the local lost their rights as Malaysian citizens in many aspects such as medical facilities, night-market business etc. Not to mention the increased in crimes – drugs, rapes, housebreaking, murder  etc. which was committed by these PATI.

As I’ve written in my earlier artical ( READ HERE ), UMNO-BN needs to change it’s leaders attitude who, many said are full of  CORRUPTION , CRONYISM, RACIST, FAVOURITISM AND ARROGANT attitudes. They need to change or will surely be changed in the next general election.

Coming back to Manek Urai by-election, PAS should understand that the ‘unity’ talk is actually a ‘divide-and-rule’ tactic of UMNO. They know very well that PR is growing each day and so the only way to break PR is by using this tactic thus creating suspicion among the members of PR. Ostensibly to unite the community, PAS members however believe Najib meant to weaken their party and to break it apart from its Pakatan partners PKR and DAP. If PAS believe this is so then why are they continuing talking about ‘unity talk’ with UMNO-BN? Is it true that Najib is willing to divide the community just for the sake of his political games and hold on to power?

Now lets analise the result of the by-election. Manek Urai is a really rural Malay heartland where most (99%) of it’s voters are Malays, yet the UMNO-BN was unable to capture the seat despite deploying enormous resources and promises such as bridge of votes. This is something that Datuk Seri Najib as the President of UMNO and BN should take cognizance of, he can’t win in a Malay heartland by-election, wonder what hope does he have in other mix-areas!

Or was the loses contributed by his Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin who stepped on the toes of the Manek Urai Malays when he  belittle Mohd Fauzi (PR candidate), a self-made trader with a thriving fish-wholesaling business. These might have hurt the Malays as most of these Malays voters are simple and friendly people. Then came the DPM from the urban, belittling and describing Mohd Fauzi as a mere fishmonger, a humble profession for most of Kelantanese rural folks. It is actually an insult to all fishmonger and fishermen. How could someone made a visit your house and say it is a bad habit to eat with your fingers when it is your culture. Isn’t that an insult to to your culture? Sometimes some people just don’t use their brain when they talk!

Or the promise of a bridge be built the very next day should they win the by-election. Isn’t this a very unrealistic promise. To build is of course realistic but to build it the very next day??? I just couldn’t believe this when I heard him said this in TV1. If those words were uttered by any man on the street, I might just smile and said “oh what the hell, what does he know about building a bridge” or maybe he was talking about building a wooden bridge with no proper architectural plan which needed a few months to draw. But when it came from the number 2 man-in-command, no dictionary can describe my astonishment.  Only a fool would believe that can happen. If you say to demolish Petronas Twin Tower the next day, I would incline to believe as that is possible with thousands kilos of C4 placed all round the building structure! After that with just a push of a button,  Petronas Twin Tower will vanish in the thin air.

This is the kind of empty/unrealistic promises especially made during election 0r by-election time just to buy votes and these are the kind of leaders we have in Malaysia! Ahhh… by the way, isn’t this corruption? No I presume as the words came from the people that walk the corridor of power BUT yes if it came from the mouth of the opposition.

Anyway, with a 65 majority, a win is still a win! RIGHT? SO WHAT!

SHAH ALAM (July 13, 2009) : The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) seized files on allocations expenditure by seven Selangor state assemblymen from the Petaling District Office two weeks ago and have been questioning recipients of the money since.

Calling it a harrasment of their constituents, the seven assemblymen are planning to lodge a complain with the MACC advisory board member Tun Hamid Mohamed.

Those who had their files seized are Teresa Kok (DAP-Kinrara), Elizabeth Wong (PKR-Bukit Lanjan), Edward Lee (DAP-Bukit Gasing), Hannah Yeoh (DAP-Subang Jaya), Dr Cheah Wing Yin (Damansara Utama), Ean Yong Hian Wah (DAP-Seri Kembangan) and Lau Weng San (DAP-Kampung Tunku).

Kok, who led the press conference held on the sidelines of the Selangor state assembly sitting today, said: “The MACC’s actions seem to be politically motivated because they are only targeted at Pakatan Rakyat (PR) elected representatives.”

She pointed out that there had been no follow up to reports lodged early last year on some Barisan Nasional assemblymen who had spent their entire RM500,000 allocation for 2008 within the first two months of that year, adding that the MACC seems to be interest more in netting ikan bilis (small fish) compared to bigger cases such as the Port Klang Freetrade Zone.
“We are also wondering why the MACC has targeted only the Chinese assemblymen,” Kok queried.

She said the imam and committee members of a mosque in her constituency to which she had donated a set of RM10,000 speakers to had been summoned and questioned by the MACC more than once.

“What is our offence? That we used our allocations to help our constituents? What is their motive?” Kok asked, saying that they did not know about the seizure of the files until the recipients of the funds called to say they were being summoned by MACC.

Wong said she had received a call from an organiser of a Deepavali Carnival in her area saying that he was called up and questioned by the MACC pertaining allocations received.

“I consider this as harassment and intimidation of my constituents,” she said.

Yeoh meanwhile said her assistant received a call from the MACC on Friday inquiring about a RM10,000 allocation for a health clinic.

“We hold this health clinic two to three times a year for those in the lower income group in my constituency which does not have a government health clinic,” she said adding that no one from MACC attended the clinic which was held at Indah Court in PJS11 although invited.

“All our expenditure is transparent and available on my blog, I have nothing to hide,” she added.

Yeoh said the MACC should concentrate on those who had misused the people’s money instead of harassing and intimidating the public and checking on monies allocated for beneficial programmes for the people.

Kok added MACC should check on the Deputy Prime Minister’s offer to the people of Manek Urai to build a RM7 million bridge if they put BN in power in their area.

“Is this not a bribe?” she asked.

The government’s money is after all from the people’s taxes and the federal government has a duty to use their money for the benefit of the Manek Urai people, thus if the people there need a bridge then the government should build it and not use it as a pawn to garner votes, said Kok.

Anakdesa says to all Malaysian, please check with MACC and PDRM should any of you receive assistance such as water-tank, zinc sheet etc from your wakil rakyat especially during election or by-election. These assistance could be a bribe and recipient could be hauled up by MACC. Is this one of the many evil ways, the people that walk the corridor of power, harass and undermine the opposition lead state? This rather a sad chapter in the histroy of our so-called democratic country. MACC is so effecient and is learning fast and is in the process of following the footstep of our judiciary which has pratically destroy the Malaysian constitution in order to please it’s master.

PETALING JAYA: Former Selangor mentri besar Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo said he purchased his controversial mansion for RM3.5mil from a company that was facing financial difficulties.

Dr Khir said he took a RM3mil HSBC loan and spent RM600,000 on renovations.

The RM3.5mil value of the sprawling but abandoned Section 7 bungalow in Shah Alam was derived at by accredited real estate property agents Rahim and Co, he said.

Dr M: I don’t believe Khir’s mansion costs only RM3.5mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is not convinced with former Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo’s claim that his controversial mansion costs only RM3.5mil.

“He cannot simply say he bought the mansion for RM3.5mil. I believe it is more than that,” he said.

“I also have a home in Seri Kembangan. I have spent RM1mil on it, but this (Dr Khir’s mansion) is massive – many times bigger than mine,” he said.

Every man in the street can estimate the cost of houses around Shah Alam. The rakyat is not stupid if you think that they will just swallow all your words, just like the Disneyland trip. She may be one of the most famous faces in Indonesia at the moment and on her way to becoming a television star, but like anyone, Manohara Odelia Pinot still needs her family in times of crisis. Now she has an extra member to count on for support; her stepfather Juergen Reiner Noack Pinot has flown to Jakarta to support her over recent reports that her biological father has sided with Muhammad Fakhry.

The Indonesian-American model’s mother, Daisy Fajarina, said Reiner arrived on Thursday night. “He is here to morally support Manohara as he has always loved her very much,” she said. “He was also shocked to know that her biological father was not supporting her.” The 17-year-old caught media attention after Daisy claimed her daughter had been abducted and abused by Fakhry, and she became an instant celebrity after escaping from Fakhry in Singapore six weeks ago, returning to Indonesia on June 1.

Fakhry has filed a police report in Malaysia against Manohara, accusing her of making false allegations.The latest episode in the family drama came this week when the Malay Mail newspaper published an interview with Manohara’s biological father, George Manz, and a letter it alleged he wrote to Fakhry saying he was the right person to take care of Manohara, pledging to help him get her back to Malaysia. The letter ended: “My wishes are that Manohara is freed from her evil mother.”

Daisy hit back two days later, saying she was shocked by Manz’s stand to defend the Kelantan royal, accusing him of being abusive to her and her then young child. “What kind of father is he? He knows that his daughter has been hurt and he backs Fakhry instead. What a horrible father,” she said.

She said Reiner arriving in Jakarta was a great boon. “Manohara and [her sister] Dewi are very happy and he will be here for the foreseeable future,” she said. During his time here, she added, Reiner would accompany Manohara to shoots on her new soap opera, “Manohara,” now being produced by Sinemart for TV channel RCTI.

Malaysian media reported that Fakhry had filed two applications in a Shariah court over the weekend — one seeking reconciliation with Manohara and the other ordering Daisy and Manohara to pay him 972,750 Malaysian ringgit ($272,000) that he claims they owe him.

What kind of a father is this! Happy be to those children who are poor but have a loving father that will stand by their side no matter what. Even the dogs and pigs will fight off their enemies to protect their children. Here we have a human-being going against his very own flesh and blood! Wonder which category does this man falls under – human, animal or evil?

Then again Anakdesa asked….was he paid to go against his own daughter?

I came across this article by one Muhammad Abdullah which was published by Malaysiakini. After reading the article, I realised that what Muhammad Abdullah had written was absolutely true. It’s funny now when I recollect my experience as a new convert to Islam. I was told by the ustaz whom performed the ceremony:‘Do not follow the Malays but follow the Quran’. I did not understand then what it meant and I brushed aside his advice at that time in ignorance.

After looking at the events that are unfolding in Malaysia, I am beginning to understand what the ustaz meant. In Malaysia, it is a fallacy that Malays equal Islam as what is being practiced by the Malays is not what is propagated by the Prophet (pbuh) or according to the Quran. I am not saying that there aren’t any following the teachings, as I know many who do.

The more I read the Quran, the more I understand how it is being practiced here. Raja Petra Kamaruddin wrote: ‘My god is different from your god’ in ‘Malaysia Today’ on how he viewed Islam as being practiced by some in Malaysia.

I am in the position to understand better how the non-Muslims are feeling about the Malays and Islam at large as far as Malaysia is concerned. They are not against Islam but they are against discrimination and falsehood being practiced as Islamic in Malaysia.

A Malay-Muslim in Malaysia can say anything and everything about the non-Muslim and it is totally acceptable but not so for non-Muslims as they can’t even hold a forum to discuss about conversion to Islam as it is presumed a crime against Islam.

They feel that the non-Muslims are challenging Islam or even more so the Malays. If this isn’t double standards than what is? If you are a Malay-Muslim, you have every right to voice your opinions but you won’t allow non-Muslims to even hold a forum to discuss about their issues or problems.

Islam is a peaceful religion but are we are showing the non-Muslims and the whole world how ‘peaceful’ we are in our conduct?

I bet many Malay-Muslims will never understand the predicament of the non-Muslims in this country because they have never been on the other side neither are they willing to sit down at the same table to discuss matters.

I grew up in a Malay kampung when I was young and I was treated with more respect by the Malay folk even when I was practicing a different faith then. They would come over to my house during the festive seasons to enjoy the feast and they were very much Muslims.

But that has changed now as it is considered to be un-Islamic to visit the house of a non-believer! How sad that some religious bigots have influenced the minds of the Malays over the years.

Non-Muslims will always be skeptical about Islam and Muslims in this country as long as the Malays behave opposite to what is taught by the Quran. It hurts me more to see how the Holy Book has been distorted by some and misunderstood by many.

May I quote Surah Al-Nahl, Ayat 125: ‘Invite (all) to the Way of the Lord with wisdom and beautiful discourse; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for the Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.’

To be respected, respect others first and try to understand before being understood. I truly wish the Muslims in Malaysia would take stock of our deeds as we are answerable during Judgment Day. Whatever we do, Allah knows it all.

Jackson, the “King of Pop” who once moonwalked above the music world, died as he prepared for a comeback bid to vanquish nightmare years of sexual scandal and financial calamity. He was 50.

He died Thursday at UCLA Medical Centre after being stricken at his rented home in Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.

“It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known,” his brother Jermaine said. Police said they were investigating, standard procedure in high-profile cases.

Jackson’s death was confirmed by the Los Angeles Times and then The Associated Press just minutes before the nightly network news began. The anchors relayed the news at the top of their broadcasts, though CBS and ABC quickly moved on to their prepared obituaries for Farrah Fawcett, who died earlier Thursday.

SHAH ALAM: The leave application by the father of murdered Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu to quash the prosecution’s decision not to appeal against the acquittal of political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda will be mentioned at a High Court here on July 8.

The matter will be called before a deputy registrar to ensure that parties had filed all required documents for the hearing proper.

On Tuesday, Judicial Commissioner Justice Noraini Abdul Rahman ordered Altantuya’s father, Dr Shaariibuu Setev, to file submissions-in-reply to both respondents’ papers.

Setev had on Dec 24 last year filed an application for judicial review to quash the Attorney-General’s decision not to appeal against Razak’s acquittal.

He had named the Attorney-General and Razak as respondents in his application.

What a sad ending for those two guys who were condemned to death for murdering Altantuya. If I am in their shoes, I will surely upside down the bucket and let all the rubbish out, like who are involved and instructed them to commit the murder. Why suffer while the master-mind is happily enjoying the fruit of their pending death? They might have murdered her but what’s their motive? They have no connection with her before they were instructed to neutralized her. Instructions must have been given to them to neutralized her BUT by whom? Before the real culprit or culprits is/are charged for instrumenting the neutralization of Altantuya, then justice is deem to have not been carried out.

Originally the Attorney-General charged Abdul Razak Baginda for conspiring, then when High Court judge Justice Mohd Zaki Md Yasin acquitted and discharged him, the AG decided not to appeal. My simple conclusion is that the AG is incompetent or was there an instruction not to appeal? Why charged him in the first place and then said “had made a finding of fact in its decision (the court)”. Was charging him in the first place just part of the ‘wayang kulit’ and ‘let the court decide’ decision. A decision which was pre-arranged? Only GOD knows the real truth and the FIRE OF HELL is awaiting the real culprit no matter how religiously he/she pray for forgiveness. As I have said again and again, we might run away from the truth, use our richness and political connection on earth to hide ourselves from the evil we do on earth but we can never run nor hide from our Creator.

IPOH, Mon: Not a single land development proposal for the new township of Seri Iskandar was discussed by Perak’s state executive council throughout 2008.

Abdullah Antong Sabri, who is secretary of the Perak state executive council, told the Sessions Court today that although he was aware that there were proposal papers on land development for the new township, located about 45km south-west of here, none of these were brought to the attention of the state exco.

Testifying at the corruption trial of state assemblymen Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu (Independent-Changkat Jering) and Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi (Independent-Behrang) and four others, he said as the person-in-charge of readying files for the perusal of exco members during exco meetings, he did not see land development files pertaining to any Seri Iskandar project.

His Lordship Justice Anakdesa, in his n0-page judgment, alone unanimously rule and established that the defendants are found NOT GUILTY.  Based on Article 69(4) of Anakdesa Constitution which, by plain reading says – All have been arranged by the top brass to ensured that no by-election be held and also as a prize for being a ‘frog’.

On the way home on Wednesday (10 June) 53 years old Ganapragasam was detained by the police for the investigation for theft.

No one was allowed to view the corpse except for his wife, not even his teen-age children. The next-of-kin, politicians and friends gathered at the compound of the mortuary waited for Ganapragasam’s wife with anxiety.

She related that she was only allowed to view her husband’s corpse which was tilted sideway with visible bruises. Other than looking at what her eyes were allowed to see, she was even disallowed to touch her husband’s body. The vital question is, WHY?
